BarrierLog never injects a widget menu, never rewrites your pages, and never claims to make you compliant, because no tool can. It gives you the thing regulations actually reward: continuous evidence that you are finding and fixing barriers.

How it works
- A read-only snippet runs axe-core in your real visitors’ browsers and reports what they actually encounter — including pages behind a login and content rendered by JavaScript. It never modifies the page.
- A server-side crawler produces reproducible, scheduled baselines using the same pinned rule engine, so widget and crawler findings deduplicate into one record rather than double-counting.
- Guided manual audits cover what automation cannot see — captions, focus order, keyboard operability, screen-reader task completion — with evidence capture and reviewer sign-off.
- Issue-tracker sync to GitHub and Jira, where “verified fixed” requires a subsequent scan to confirm it. Closing a ticket is a claim; the scan is the evidence.
- Documentation generated from that evidence: accessibility statements (hosted, versioned, multi-language) and conformance reports in Word, PDF, and HTML.
Why the honesty is the product
Anyone can report a number. The reason a report from this platform is worth handing to a regulator or a procurement team is what it refuses to do:
- A criterion backed only by automated testing is never reported as “Supports”.
- A criterion with no evidence is “Not Evaluated”, never assumed to pass.
- Below 50% criteria coverage, the platform refuses to state a conformance status at all rather than guess in either direction.
- If a published statement’s evidence later regresses, the statement flags itself for re-approval and says so on the public page.
- Manual findings can only be closed by a human re-audit, never by an automated scan.
What you are responsible for
We would rather you know this before buying than after:
- Your counsel must review the generated documents. They are structured on published models and filled from your evidence, but whether the wording satisfies the law in your markets is a legal question. A structured review workflow is built in, and the platform keeps warning you until every question is answered.
- A native speaker must sign off each language you publish a statement in. A literal translation of a term like “partially conformant” may not be the term your national transposition uses.
- The manual audits need your testers. Automation gets you roughly 57% of the way; a human with assistive technology covers the rest.
